A lazyjack system is an active aid for containing the mainsail when reefing and dousing. Our lazyjack system works exceptionally well with fully-battened mainsails, but it is also very handy for use with conventional sails.
Seldén supplies complete lazyjack kits with all the necessary blocks, eye straps, lines, fasteners, boom sliders and full instructions.
This is a 3-leg systems suitable for a max luff length of 20 meter containing:
- 3 Lazyjack sliders in Polyamide with self tapping M6 screws and a ø5,3 mm drill bit. The sliders fit Seldén B120 - B172 boom sections.
- 100 mm composite cleat with self tapping M5 screws and a ø4,6 mm drill bit
- 2 stainless "2-P eye" , ø6 mm, c-c 38 mm and self tapping M5 screws. These are the attachment points on each side of the mast.
- 4 BBB30 ball-bearing blocks
- 48 m of ø6 mm white 16/16 plait Polyester line
